Hi, I'm Rachael. I'm a copywriter for businesses in the outdoor recreation industry. So if you're all about hiking, camping, backpacking, swimming, and roller skating, you're in the right place. I write all about my experiences hiking in the backcountry, enjoying nature, and the occassional book review.

I grew up swimming, camping, and attending all my brother's scouting events. When I was old enough, I formed a venture crew and went on my own Philmont trek. I liked hiking in New Mexico so much that I went on another trek and worked at Philmont for two summers. No amount of words can describe how much Philmont means to me, but I hope to convey a fraction of those feelings here.
